# Integrations

> A registry of typed connector operations reachable from processes, agents and workflows - plus the MCP endpoint external tools reach in through

Source: https://aipril.dev/docs/platform/integrations

Two directions, and they use different machinery.

**Outward** - the platform calls something. That is the **connector registry**: typed operations with
declared inputs and outputs, invoked from a process step, from a durable workflow, or by an
[AI agent](https://aipril.dev/docs/harness/tools-and-mcp.md) through the bridge into the tool plane. One registry, one
credential story, one audit path.

**Inward** - something calls the platform. That is the API surface and the **MCP endpoint**, which is
how an external AI client works against the platform's own operations under the caller's own
authority.

## The pages

- [Connectors](https://aipril.dev/docs/platform/integrations/connectors.md) - what ships, how an operation is declared,
  credentials and retries.
- [Custom connectors](https://aipril.dev/docs/platform/integrations/custom-connectors.md) - adding one, and what you get
for free by declaring it properly.
- [MCP](https://aipril.dev/docs/platform/integrations/mcp.md) - the tool endpoint, in both directions.
